Fuse v2 Fusion Portal Basics
We are pleased to announce that on January 1st, 2024 at midnight we will be officially launching our new Fuse v2 Fusion Portal. The old portal will go offline on December 26th, 2023 and at the flip of the new year, the new v2 Fusion Portal will launch. As an existing subscriber, your going to get a unique experience rarely, if ever found in any other provider. You, the existing subscriber are going to get a chance to help guide the Fuse v2 development process.
Planned Primary Functions
The primary goal is to simplify everything so that we only have a single website everyone goes to for everything no matter what it is instead of having separate sites for the Fusion Portal, Chat, support, billing, what have you and all in a single "fused" central location we call our Fuse v2 Fusion Portal. Although we don't have an official release date for it yet, we will also be putting out an accompanying Android and iOS/Apple Store application that is just 1 single app that will do everything you need. Here is just a short list of planned core features in no particular order of planned development;
- All the functions of the current Fusion Portal ( billing, invoices, account statement, support tickets, circuit data used logging and graphs )
- HFT Chat ( all channels , markets, direct messages, files, etc, will be migrated over to the new system just as they where before the migration )
- In-Web page/app video & voice calling
- Single Sign-On - Setting it so that each user has only 1 single username and password and upon login to their Fusion Portal, not having to "sign up" or "Register" for several other sites in order to "get into" everything HFT.
- Advanced Notifications ( so you can turn them off at night and fully customize them )
- Advanced Circuit Management Functions ( like self activation of new wifi routers for example, rebooting your own radio from a web page if your not home )
- Graphical Network Address Status Widget ( a graphical representation of your entire path out to our gateway with real time status designators for all sites along the path )
- Advance Managed Router Management & Configuration ( if you have our managed router service you'll be able to change and edit almost all normal functions of any other wifi router from within your portal anywhere you happen to be )
- Automated Appointment Scheduling & Conformations ( We are working on integrating our Fuse v2 Fusion Portal with Asana, a project management platform in order to aid in communication of data from subscriber to the central Hyper Fusion system and then to the field engineering contractor who will conduct the on-call appointment required. When ever it is determined that an on-side is required, either for fine tuning, repair, upgrade, radio swapping, what ever the case maybe, then you will login to your fusion portal and on your next login if you have an appointment conformation waiting the system will automatically forward you to the conformation page, you'll be given a selection of 3 possible appointments, these appointments will NOT be automatically generated, they will be selected by the field engineering contractor selected that they will be available to conduct the job with 1 of the 3 selected as the contractors preferred time in order to make sure that every onsite is conducted as quickly as possible and with the best craftsmanship, the "On-site widget" will also allow you to text and call with both HFT Subscriber Care & your assigned onsite field engineering contractor allowing all of us to be on the same page and in real time by combining the power of the Twilio API which we already use for our phone system. )
Early Feature Requests
This below is just a small part of the list of early feature requests requested as we've discussed with some subscribers the coming Fuse v2 Hyper Fusion. If you have an idea for a feature that you'd like to see included in the new Fuse v2 Fusion Portal, please login to the current HFT Chat #Fusev2-Alpha channel and post up your idea and if it gets enough support we will implement into our initial release of the Fuse v2 Fusion Portal.
- Notification Sleep Hours - Allowing each subscriber to set the hours in which notifications are allowed to go out. Any notifications that come in after "sleep hours" are set will be collected and compiled until the "awake time" you select at which point all notifications collected overnight will then be delivered and come in in real time during your "awake hours" that each subscriber sets inside their Fusion Portal.
- Electronic Forms - All paper forms will be done away with and we're moving to electronic forms that will be displayed on our field engineering contractors portal POS station and dispatch device that allows you new and existing subscribers to plug in their mobile number or email address and in the text or email will be a link with the work order, details, and any charges that may be associated with that onsite taking into account whether or not your a Hyper Drive Plan subscriber. Once you click agree on the work order form on your mobile device or computer/laptop the field engineering contractors mobile device will then pop up with a signature screen allowing subscribers to free hand sign their actual signature with the provided stylus.
- Hyper Drive Plans - Allows subscribers to access all features of their Hyper Drive plan thru the integration of the Patreon API into the Fuse v2 Fusion Portal.
- Cloud Storage - Much like Google Drive, subscribers will have a special page within their Fuse v2 Fusion Portal for personal file storage. Google Drive comes with 15GB of free storage, HFT's Cloud Storage will come with 50GB of free standard storage included with every active subscriber with 1 active subscription or more. Of course subscribers will be able to increase storage capacity for an additional monthly fee.
- Basic Automated Circuit Tools & Repair - Allows subscribers to run local wireless scans if they have a fixed point wireless radio, managed router service, or a Fusion Wireless Scanning sensor linked to your local circuit. The automated wireless network scanner will then recommend the best 5GHz wireless channel and 2.4GHz channel along with recommended advanced wireless settings for your router. If the subscriber has our managed router service of any type, this scanning tool will show a button allowing you to change your local wifi channel to the new suggested channel taking all the guess work out of figuring out how to optimize your wifi. This also eliminates subscribers having to wait to get in touch with Chris to get this basic item done but that might be difficult for those that have no clue how to configure a router. But this allows you to get all the expertise of Chris, our Chief of Technology 24/7 at your finger tips.
Fuse v2 Fusion Portal Coordinating Policy Changes
Along with the Fuse 2 Fusion Portal release we will be implementing several major policy changes as well. It is important to understand that our management team has man advisors and business professionals like CPA's and legal council that are helping us to form a more professional and mainstream telecommunications company while still remaining true to our original Core Values for our company. The changes we are making below will help ensure that human error is taken out of the process as much as possible by accurately automating as much as we can in a uniform fashion that applies to all accounts and ensure the highest degree of accuracy as possible. These policy changes will engage at midnight on January 1st, 2024.
- Payment Methods - In an effort to automate our payment system in the most effective way possible, after January 1st the only method of payment will be accepting for payment of ongoing monthly subscription services will require keeping a US Checking or Savings account on file and balances owed on accounts for setups, activations, and ongoing monthly subscription fees will be collected via ACH Debit transactions using the preferred US Bank account. The new Fuse v2 Fusion Portal will also allow for a 2nd US bank account to be added as a backup payment account.
- Payment Capture Procedures - As the method we are using to collect all subscription fee balances we are disclosing our procedures for payment capture as well.
- All accounts will have the entire balance on the account drawn by ACH Debit from the primary account on file, or as much as the system will allow. If any remaining balance remains, that balance will then be attempted to be withdrawn from the back up account on the 26th of the month to cover the following months invoice.
- If any balance remains on the 27h of the month, the system will attempt capture from the primary account again, and then the secondary account again.
- If any remaining balance remains the system will attempt capture from both accounts on file again on the 1st of the month. If any balance remains open and uncollectable on the 1st of the month a $10 reactivation fee will be automatically added to the account and all subscription services are automatically suspended. Subscriber may login at any point after this to manually initiate an ACH draw for the entire current balance to automatically un-suspend subscription services.
- After 7 days the system will attempt capture again. As before, drawing first from the Primary US Bank account on file, and then from the secondary. If any balance remains open and uncollectable on the 7th day of the month, a $40 reactivation fee is automatically added to the account and all subscription services are automatically suspended. Subscriber may login at any point after this to manually initiate an ACH draw for the entire current balance to automatically un-suspend subscription services.
- Payment Forgiveness Status - Unlike most other providers, Hyper Fusion, being founded by former Spectrum and Big Bog 4g/5g providers, understand the frustrations with these "big box providers". As long as the subscriber makes contact with HFT Subscriber Care before the 25th of the month, in most cases we can work with the subscriber to ensure their service don't get automatically suspended. Especially in a post pandemic world we understand things can be a struggle. And if the state or federal government won't step up to help our community with broadband infrastructure funds, Hyper Fusion aims to do everything it can to help close that gap as much as we can of course.
- Multiple Devices Now Allowed - As it currently is, only 1 device is allowed to be activated on each subscriber circuit at a time and in order to change devices you have to contact HFT Subscriber Care and specifically get in direct touch with Chris. We all know, trust us, this is a hassle for the subscriber, for Chris, and of course for our subscriber care agents. The new Fuse v2 Fusion Portal will allow subscribers to activate all on their own using their Fusion Portal and a mobile 4g/5g data link and any standard mobile web browser to add / swap / manage up to 30 activated devices. Allowing you to quickly swap out your router for a laptop or desktop or backup router and not have to worry about waiting for Chris to re-activate it, or adding a new activation on a new device. All of this will now be automated and able to be done thru the new Fuse v2 Fusion Portal
- Engagement Rewards Program - We really want to push our #fusethecommunity initiative and get all our local communities working together to help build a better brighter future and keep our small local towns, SMALL LOCAL TOWNS. So much like "Google Maps Contributors" who leave reviews and add things to google maps and things and they get "points" for badges, but not much else, we're taking that concept a bit further. Every account after Jan 1st, will carry an "Engagement Rewards" point balance. Works pretty simple, the more you post in HFT Chat, in the new Fuse v2 Fusion Portal, comment on/watch/thumbs up YouTube Videos, add listings to our Fusion Atlas, leave reviews on our Fusion Atalas, refer other subscribers, and the more you engage in any online HFT platform site most actives will earn you "engagement points". We'll have a special "rewards store" where you'll be able to use these points to obtain everything from "subscription account credits so you don't have to pay your internet bill", gift cards to the Hyper Fusion store good towards free gadgets and other products, gift cards to other vendors, HFT Promotional merchandise, and more.
