Our 2018 Fiber Projects

Our 2018 Fiber Projects

It was a lot of hardwork bringing fiber to Kempner & Lampasas but we did it.  Here is a photo gallery of our work.  Unlike the “other guys” we have proof we drill our own fiber.  Here it is.  We also build our own towers and get them put up.  We’re proud to show off our work and we had our first fiber to the home customers LONG before anyone else.

Lampasas And Kempner Signal Maps Released

Hey there everyone, we decided we would make a quick post to show you our exact signal coverage in the Lampasas Kempner area.  If your not in a green area, don’t worry, there are LOTS of repeaters around, these are just our high speed 1/2 gpbs + repeaters, it does not mean we can’t get you service.  With our 10 repeaters now fully complete around the Lampasas and Kempner area, we can hit every little nook and cranny.  The other guys can’t.  Just that simple.  The 10 repeater system we have surrounding Lampasas & Kempner also includes several repeaters that are fiber connected for insane speed.  Kempner North will also be our first repeater with our new gigabit wireless to the home!  Yes, it is possible now.  Hyper Fusion has launched its mmWave wireless gear.  This allows us to hit extremely fast REAL download speed tests at the home.  You must be with in 5km of Kempner North, Burnet Main, or Lampasas North to qualify for gigabit to the home wireless service.

Our Lampasas / Kempner network now consists of the following repeaters: Lampasas North, Lampasas East, Lampasas South, Lampasas West, Our Friends 1, Little Tower, Kempner North, Kempner South, Chica Ranch, and Arrowhead ( cactus creek ).  All 4 of our Lampasas repeaters WILL be fiber connected here, some already are.  We are less then 1/2 mile outside of Lampasas with each repeater, and with in the next couple weeks, all 4 will be direct fiber hardline connected and we will be fully ready to bring fiber to the home and business in Lampasas. That is, if the City of Lampasas will call us and ask us to put lines everywhere.  So if you live in Lampasas and want fiber direct, EVERYONE please call the city, every day, and tell them you want Fusion Fiber!  The more pressure we put on them, the faster it will happen.

Hyper Fusion Grows Into Kingsland

Kingsland Texas internet from Hyper Fusion is finally arrived!  That’s right Kingsland.  Now you too get to enjoy the incrediably fast speeds of our pure digital network and enjoy the HyperNET for yourself!  Our internet packages start at $65 / month for 25 Mbps.  And unlike the other guys, all our customers enjoy plan minimums, not plan maximums.  That means typically our connections will run faster than advertised, but never slower.  No contracts, no slowing your speed after a certain amount of usage, just internet, the way it should be, simple, and affordable.  We are proudly locally owned and operated.  So Kingsland, we know your hurting, so as a special, we’re offering Kingsland residents $100 off our normal activation for the rest of January 2019.

Storm Outage Update & Upcoming Schedule

THERE IS ALSO AN UPDATED PHONE MESSAGE, SO CALL OUR MAIN NUMBER AND PRESS OPTION 2 TO HEAR IT.

We have been getting lots of calls, please bear in mind the following when we have weather or outages:

  1. Our engineers always know about the outage, as we use central monitoring software to monitor every radio on our network.
  2. We post about all real time network status updates on our Twitter feed, our facebook page, and at the footer of our website.
  3. When coming back online from an outage, please refrain from running any speed tests until the next day. When everyone runs them at once, some people still think they are offline cause all the traffic floods the network.
  4. Since the Christmas storm, there have been days off for the holidays, and every day in between almost has been super windy or stormy, so please bear with us with this longer than usual delay.

With the above in mind, we kindly ask that our customers bear with us.  Most are back online, but there are still a few who are out and as soon as the weather clears, we’ll get back on it right away.  Below is a rough schedule of work so that everyone knows the schedule.

Burnet Main West Facing AP:  This AP is back online, however, needs a slight adjustment to get it back pointed the right direction.

Kepmner North South Facing AP:  This AP is still down, we’re hoping to replace it Friday.

Kempner North Tower Re-condition:  Friday, Jan. 4th, we will be taking the Kempner North tower offline most of the day.  We are going to be stripping all the wires and most of the radios off the tower as well as the old smaller gear box and replacing that smaller box with a large outdoor enterprise class enclosure.  We will also be adding backup power solutions and power cleaning so that the Kempner North tower as a primary transmission tower never goes down again.

Burnet Main Tower Re-condition: Monday, Jan 7th.  Same thing as Kempner North, we will be stripping everything off the tower and replacing it.

Our Friends 1 Gear Load: Our Friends 1 repeater now that its up will have its gear loaded on Tuesday. Jan. 8th.

Arrowhead Ranch: Same thing as our friends 1, just need gear loaded, will happen on Thursday Jan 10th.

Our Friends 2 & Blackbuck Ridge: Friday, Jan. 11th, we will be putting these 2 repeaters up.

Burnet East & Equrina ( Lake Victor ): These 2 towers will finish being built during the 2nd and 3rd weeks of January.

The above work MUST be conducted in order for us to have a stronger better network.  Thanks to everyone for being patient and understanding.  All our staff is committed to delivering the best service possible.

Regards,
The Team @ Hyper Fusion

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

All network updates are complete.  Moving forward over the Christmas Holiday there should be no more interruptions in service.  As a reminder, our offices will re-open for the 26th thru 28th, and installs will resume under normal hours on Jan. 2nd, 2019. However, we are in the process of creating a genuine cloud system and putting our entire system in a genuine 4 node cloud network built 100% in-house by our amazing engineers.  We don’t 3rd party out our VPN and back hauling thru 3rd parth SD-WAN services.  These SD-WAN services, although they are decent with what they do, are still basically the same thing as what WordPress and Square Space do for websites, except SD-WAN does VPN, nothing more.  Noobs use this because they can’t operate a VPN server themselves.  This is part of the reason why we are now requiring MAC addresses for routers.

After the first of the year, a new requirement for all routers will also require them to be IPv6 compatible.  In an effort to stay ahead of the competition and build the most secure possible network we will be making some major changes to our network.  Including adding a 2nd chesty fiber line in Burnet thru a completely different provider then our Kempner fibers.  This will make our entire network completely redundant.  We are also direct fiber connecting our heavy usage repeaters as well as installing multiple redundant backbone radios on every repeater to create a full self healing smart network using in-house proprietary software built by the amazing team at Hyper Fusion.  We’re moving to a custom solution to prevent others from copying what we work so hard to deliver.  They can copy what gear we use, then can copy our website, they can copy our prices, they can not copy the software that drives the network in a MUCH more secure, fast, and stable way, then 3rd party software with known attack points.  Our software is custom, with un-common port structures, multiple redundant paths, and many other things we can’t publicly disclose that keep our network far superior.

In addition to having multiple upstream providers now, we also now have servers in 3 separate datacenters, 1 in Austin, TX, 1 in Canada, and one in Michigan including our in-house datacenter which houses our primary node directly.  Each of these with dedicated 1 or 10 gig uplinks to handle our traffic.  These datacenters also each contain web servers that all carry real-time data synchronization between all 3 clusters so if 1 goes down, the other 2 pull the load thusly always ensuring connectivity.  We are in the process of having a direct assigned IP Subnet space assigned to us now that we are a full fledged multi-homed ISP.  To our knowledge, NONE of the Wireless ISP’s in the area are capable of this, and nothing can hold a candle to the reliability of connection this delivers.

With moving to an pure IPv6 network, EVERY customer will be given a large block of their very own public IP’s.  No need to pay to lease expensive IPv4’s for your X-Box 1 games that require public IP’s any more.  Just 1 more way, Hyper Fusion is staying ahead of the game and delivering our customers the best possible latest in pure digital internet.

NOTE: With us moving websites to data centers over the Christmas Holiday, our website, portal, backend systems, forums, ipTV Transcoding servers, and other network systems, will be getting new IPv6 and IPv4 addresses to help fascilate the cross over so nobody experiences in a loss of internet or TV service.
